Hands down, my favorite movie for the longest period of time has to be "Pride and Prejudice." I've been a reader most of my life but never read Jane Austen. My friend Katie actually introduced me to Jane Austen by lending me one of her copies of 'Pride and Prejudice." I was so impressed by the simple yet captivating story that I've become a true fan ever since. I've since watched both the BBC and Keira Knightly versions and I actually like the latter the most ( I know Katie will have something to say about that :0) .) I love it for the cinematography and the swoon-worthy Mr. Darcy. Whenever I'm sick, feeling sad or just want to stay inside and snuggle up on the couch, this is usually the first DVD I choose.

one of my favorites too. Love Lizzie's spirit & wit. . . and, of course, the romance.

A true classic!
