To be honest with you I wasn't so sure about this challenge. I'm always the girl who is matchy-matchy, so mixing patterns sounded dangerous. But I chose to accept this challenge (because it is the point to get me out of my comfort zone...AGAIN) and I perused my closet anyway. I found the floral skirt first (I don't only wear skirts, I promise!) first. Next came the cardigan. But I didn't want to wear the polka dot cardigan all by it's lonesome, so I found an orange/white stripe tank to layer with it! Over all I have three prints working and I think I may have found a new favorite outfit!
Cardigan: Old Navy, Tank: Maurices, Skirt: Target from 5 years ago, Shoes: Payless Shoes |
Yay for pattern mixing! I think I've found a new hobby!

I love the colors together. Nice job mixing three patterns--it totally works!
Super cute!!! I love this!
Suuuuper cute! Love it. I have that old navy cardi, now I'm going to wear it with orange!
I love it! You are much more brave than me.
Great look! The colors are beautiful.
I love it! I also love your blog layout.
So cute! 3 patterns? Great job!
Ummm...yeah. I think this might be my favorite look that I've seen linked today. Love the colors, and I wouldn't even go, "Huh..." seeing it together (which is usually my reaction to pattern mixing).
Thank you all so much!
This is my favorite one so far today! I love this.
You totally nailed it! I really love this outfit. I'll take that skirt off your hands if you ever decide to donate it. Ha!
This is a 5 star outfit! I love it! Way to go!
Love this outfit! All the patterns and colors compliment each other perfectly!
i absolutely love that skirt and think you hit pattern mixing perfectly. i like to be matchy matchy too (and skipped the pattern mixing day of this challenge for that reason, ha!) but i could definitely see myself wearing this same outfit. :)
